Thirst Aid Station
Thirst Aid Station is an emergency water purification system for family use, that makes pure, safe water from unclean and potentially dangerous water, like the water that is lying around after a natural disaster such as floods, earthquakes, Tsunami’s, etc. The extremely tough 10L ArmourWeave bag has enough capacity to supply a family of 4 with safe water for a month (SPHERE humanitarian standards). Simple operation, pour Dirty water in… Clean water out. Used by charities to give to beneficiaries and USAR teams helping victims and for their own use in these hostile environments. Watch the Thirst Aid Station video and see for yourself. Water Purifier independently tested; exceeds US EPA guidelines for a microbiological water purifier testing protocols. For use on water of unknown microbiological quality.
Now proven to reduce microbiological hazards AND over 100 harmful heavy metals, pesticides and other hazardous chemicals
Including arsenic 3&5, cadmium, mercury to NSF 53 standards were reduced by 99.9%. Fluoride tested to NSF 53 standards was reduced by 95%. See our independent testing results for further details.
The unique purifier incorporates our MAD (Mechanically Advanced Disinfection) technology that eliminates
>99.9999% bacteria, 99.999% viruses, >99.99% larger pathogens. >99.9% of many chemicals, heavy metals, dirt and odour.
In testing to NSF Ansi 42 and 53 standards most contaminants demonstrated a reduction greater than 99.9%. Including arsenic 3&5, cadmium, mercury, 4,4 DDT, Aldrin, Dieldrin, Glyphosate, PCBs, Benzene, Toluene and Vinyl Chloride.
Fluoride tested to NSF 53 standards was reduced by 95%.
Why is chemical reduction important to include in your choice of microbiological water purifier? In most, if not in all developing countries and even some best known developed countries - Fresh water sources can be largely contaminated by industrial waste being dumped directly into rivers and streams, an estimated half million tons of PCBs were discharged into the environment during the 20th century. Another kind of toxic pollution comes from heavy metals, such as lead, cadmium, and mercury which can come from many sources Inc. old batteries, old plastic bottled water bottles and thousands of other toxic pollutants. The effects will be felt for many decades if not several 100 years until they break down fully into the environment. PCBs have even been found in birds and fish in the Arctic. They were carried there through the oceans, thousands of miles from where they originally entered the environment – transboundary pollution example.
HOWEVER IN NATURAL DISASTERS, TOXIC CHEMICALS AND WASTE CAN EASILY MIX WITH LOCAL DRINKING WATER SUPPLIES AS SEWAGE PIPES AND OTHE INFRACSTRUCTURES ARE DESTROYED OR BREAK DOWN.
First Aid in the field - If the only water you have available is unknown quality including bottled water- which could also be unsafe – the MAD purifier is ‘ideal for wound irrigation in emergencies’, cuts or abrasions whilst in the field where there is no medical assistance
The Thirst Aid Station uses NO chemicals and requires NO wait time. It will enable you to have access to safe, clean drinking water anywhere, anytime.*
